    I plugged my #'s in
    speed:131
    rpm:6250
    gear:3.73
    tire:29

    got 9.38% slippage

    Is that high?

I don't think so. If memory serves correct, I think 15-18% of slippage is the norm for a 3500-3800lb car. How much does your car weigh?

    3710 with me
trans temp was cool 120 degrees, helps lock up the converter I would think.....

I notice using different calculators on the internet, will give you different results. Are you using the manual method? I think your slippage is high for ultimate ET and MPH.

My car has too much slip still however plug these numbers in:

    MPH: 137
    RPM: 6700
    Tire size: 30
    Gears: 4.11
Race weight 3650lbs. I would like to see in the range of 6% slip. Just my thoughts.

    You are good at 5.632%

I'm running 8 in 4200 ATI. I have more slip due to the lesser gear I'd say.....What conv are you running?
