Converted my 66 300 from 2v to Edelbrock 600CFM 4v. Any jetting suggestions?

    This weekend I converted my '66 300 from the stock 2bbl to an Edelbrock 600CFM 4bbl using a stock 65 4v manifold.

Now that I've made the conversion, it feels like I need to make some jetting changes. I think the car is running a little rich, based on my tailpipe and the fact it's a little hard to start.

Overall power seems up (definately a SOP improvement at WOT where the car actually pulls pretty strongly), but there is a loss of crispness at part throttle I had with the 2bbl. The car is also running slightly warmer (just a few deg. on my temp guage), which would lead me to believe it's rich.

According to the Edelbrock website, this is what comes stock with my carb

    Metering Jets Primary .098, Secondary .095; Metering Rods .075 x .047; Step-Up Spring yellow (4" Hg)

Since I'm not super familiar with the jet/rod functions, any recomendations on a place to start?

    Thanks!
