    My bud John

This guy here is one of my buds. John raced everything he could and runnered up in almost all of them. He from this day forward shall be Mr. Runner UP:moonu:. We usaully pit right close together and what he doesn't have we do. John has one of the most consistent cars out there. Pump gas motor running 10.60's is a pretty good combo. :TU:

    Re: last but not least

Bobb, I was wondering if you left me and John out, earlier, but I didn't think so as we are your best and biggest fans. Thanks for the contingency plan and also congrats to you for going your fastest ever thanks to the California folks, sorry you can't cut a light, but you know what, I have the 28s on the front and I thought the new LED lights were awesome, and wonder what other tracks we will visit have them? None of that old electrical fade from an incandesent light bulb, since I didn't make Norwalk on Thursday did they have the new LED lights? I slept on the line to not redlight, didn't just go like I had all day, I guess sometimes thinking about it I should have just done what Wally said 'It's just another race' and do the same thing I had been doing all day, but hey, that's racin'! When do you go to 131? I might what to come cheer you on, haven't been there in ages. Thanks again for the contingency plan, and plan on another check in a few months, say hey to Anthony, really missed him, but he has to do what he has to do, tell him I said so, too. RV

    RACEBUICKS SAID:
Mike, Jim N. & I went off heads-up with 10:60 dials, he had a better light then me as I was still hurting from my redlight in Fridays "Big Buck" gamblers race final. As Bobb said, I runner-up'd in 3 races, and made it to the semi's in the other. Sure would have been nice to have won at least one of them, a little more experience getting to the finals & I'll be ready!! Thanks to Geof & Bobb at FINISHLINE Motorsports for thier help and the contengency check (paid at the track right after eleminations by the way, NO WAITING!!!) Bobb, I already told Robin I need to change the lettering on my door to read: John "RUNNER-UP" Stevens, thanks Buddy!

    Congrats to all the winners!

Rod and I wanted to thank Finishline again for having the gasket we needed. We got our best time ever 8.07, made it to the semifinals of Super 16 and ended up having a great race against Tweaked. Wouldn't have done it with out you!

Looking forward to seeing you guys in August!:3gears:

Are the LED's easier to cut? Or do they take some getting used to?

Adam, the biggest deal is you don't have the fade of the incandensent lamp, it's like boom, boom, boom, and go! And they are brighter as well, check out some of the new traffic lights and semi truckers lights with them, they are much brighter. At GM we have an initiative to replace all the EXIT signs with LED signs, saves us a ton in replacing/relamping etc. Cause the LEDs will last at least 20 yrs or more I think. You will like them too. Some of the ricers and sport trucks are converting their taillamps and parking lights, you can even get an 1157 LED replacement so you could take the tail lights back out of your car again and put them in, I'm thinking about doing that with my trailer lights maybe!
I wonder if any of the manufacturers have converted over, yet, not sure as I can't keep up with technology anymore!

Yeah, I've been seeing lots of semi's and traffic lights being converted...and they really shine! Very quick too..

I'm interested to see how it affects my RT....let's hope it's for the better:laugh: I somehow managed a .563 in Milan last year with the help of Larry H's coaching..

    Thanks!!!

Just want to post another THANKS to Bobb and Geof of Finishline Motorsports for the great way they treated the people with their decals. Wish other companies would be so timely to pay. Great what you did for the racers. Looking forward to Martin. I will talk to Charlie about the carburetor or pick one up from my buds at Quick Fuel Technology in Bowling Green. Bob you need to come back to Bowling Green and run the PRO race in a couple of weeks. See you soon.
    Jim N.

P.S. John great race. I told you before the race I wouldn't run a 60....but you thought I was lying.LOL.
