constant radiator/heater core problems?

    If your going thru radiators or heater cores,you might want to do this simple test.
    Once again,it stresses the importance of your ground cables/straps/wires.

    This is even more crucial with a high out-put alternator.

    You may already know how, but in case you don't and if you are interested, this is how testing for electrolysis is done:

    Test with the engine running and at operating temperature. Make sure all engine straps are in place. Using a digital voltmeter: Place negative lead to the battery negative post and the positive lead into the coolant.

    Alternate Method: Place negative lead to radiator core (not the tank ends) and the positive lead into the coolant. A voltage reading above 0.300V can cause pinholes in the heater core and/or radiator.

    Any value to grounding the radiator? Some OEMs do this.
