Consolette

    Were any consolettes made of plastic?
    Mine in my 68 GS 400 is metal.
    I thought they were all metal?

    Hi,

    The 64 and early 65 had a plastic surround, the shift plate was die-cast, didn't have a built-in tach like mid 65 though 72.

    Also the difference between an A-body version and full size was the plastic surround and shift lever.
