I wasn't sure where to put this one. The tach in my Wildcat doesn't work, so I need to remove it from the console and send it off for repairs. I've got some pictures as to how it mounts in the console, but I can't figure out how to get to it for removal. Both the body and chassis manuals are no help. Anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance.

I've taken mine out a few times and it is pretty simple, but it has been a while and i'm not near my car now so I'll see if I can get this right. Open your front compartment and remove the grey bucket, if you shine a flashlight in there you will see a bolt that mounts the console to the trans hump, it is closer to the tach. There is also a bolt or screw in the rear compartment at the bottom. If memory serves these are the only 2 fasteners, you just need to unscrew the shift knob, disconnect the shift lever light and tach and pull up.
