I bought a 73+ console and would like to use it in my 72 Skylark. I have the document from George Nenadovich to measure out and cut one side but I can't find a template or measurements for the other side. Since the two sides are different, I hope to find some instructions so the console fits well and looks stock. Any suggestions? Would anyone happen have a 70-72 console on a shelf where they would be will to trace out the two sides?

    Thank you

Frank when I did one of these a few years ago. I found that on one side I actually had to add material to match up with the 70-72 console. Because of that I haven't done another.
I had made a template but believe I threw it away. I will look around and let you know if I still have it.

Frank if your doing a driver car just cut the one side and you can probably put it in and use it. It may not be perfect but will most likely work just fine. If that worries you may want to find the correct 70-72 console and put it in at a later time and use this till you get the right one.

Thanks John, I have used those measurements and have points drawn out on the side of the console. I'm not sure if they apply to both sides and the line for cutting does not closely resemble the profile of the correct console. I will likely wait until I am ready to install everything before cutting into this console.
