Thinking of rechroming my long console chrome. Few issues on the large Buick section. My question is : Does anyone reproduce the console woodgrain and what of the quality. Mine is nice so would not rechrome if the repro woodgrain is poor or certainly not available. thanks

Lots of places sell the woodgrain. As far as I know it is all made by the same company - REM. Try eBay, OPGI, The Parts Place, Year 1, or many others. Before going too far, check the pricing to get the part rechromed, it might surprise you.

I rechromed the console in my '72 GS about 6 years ago. Cost me $640 cdn, at Cambridge Chrome.
