Jim Netherland ran his '67 GS in Atlanta this past weekend at the NSCA Race. He qualified #1 with a 10.501 on a 10.50 index with that Charlie Evans Buick Horsepower:TU: Unfortunately, he lost in the finals but definitely flew the Buick banner high. Congratulations Jim !!!!!!!

    Good job, Jim -

Just to put it in perspective:

There were twenty cars in the class (largest class at the event). Jim had to go FIVE elimination rounds on Sunday; he lost the final by .0002 of a second. And they say "football is a game of inches"...

    Well done, Jim.

    Thanks Folks!

Runner-up is ok, but I'm ready to win one. Been runner-up the last two NSCA races I attended. Guess Sunday just belonged to Brian. His daughter won EFI right in front of our run and then he beat me so they both were in the winner's circle. Picture from BG attached.

I hear ya, Jim. After 3 runner-ups and a semi at last years nationals (one on Sat. to you!) I'm ready for a win. In case you didn't hear, at Norwalk for Buick Raceday I again runner-up'd to Drew E. after he had a .000 light. How about if we come up together you let me have one, huh? :Brow: Nah?, didn't think so! :TU: See you in B.G.!
