Concern - CoverWithCare.com or T's Performance

    I purchased a car cover as a gift for my son from Cover with Care or T's Performance in White Lake MI. My son lives 430 miles from us - it was to be given to him as he was visiting. I planned 7 days for shipping from Michigan to our Minnesota address - the cover was in stock - was to be shipped the day it was paid for. I did recieve an immediate response that the cover had been ordered and then a response from Paypal and CoverwithCare that the cover had been paid for. I have received a canned response from Cover with care from emails (2 total) the phone is either disconnected (800 number) or not in service. I have tried to contact T's Performance with no success.
    The cover was to be shipped via UPS - UPS has Quantum View visability. I have opened a dispute with CoverwithCar via Paypal. If the cover shows, I will advise via this forum. Even if it shows, it will be necessary for me to ship to my son @ my expense. Normally, UPS can reroute to a different address - however, if you can't track the shipment or can't contact the shipper, it is not possible for UPS to do so.

    I would appreciate feedback if anyone on the board knows how to contact these folks. This is a bad deal all around.

    As I stated in my previous post - I recieved the cover from CoverwithCare or T's Performance - it was shipped by a company called Elite Partners - from Pompton Plains NJ. I was not informed of the shipment via either of the three companies. It appears the product was shipped on the day that PayPal contacted them to open an inquiry. Regards

    I understand this car cover was purchased as a gift for your son and that the transaction timeline was unacceptable to you. To summarize, the order was received Friday, May 20th @ 2PM (EST), and shipped from our warehouse in New Jersey on Tuesday, May 24th (within 2 business days after the order was placed). UPS Ground delivered your shipment on May 31st (5 business days).

    As explained, our phone/internet service was experiencing technical issues. We utilize one provider and both services were affected. For this inconvenience, we refunded 100% of your purchase with hope of regaining your confidence for future business.

    CoverWithCare.com has withheld a remarkable reputation and it's unfortunate to have such a scar. Our goal is provide 100% Customer Satisfaction and I apologize we fell short of your expectations.

    In the days before the internet, there was no such need for drop shipping. Today with billions of dollars being moved through cyberspace, the need for immediate satisfaction is all the more necessary. For web stores who choose not to buy inventory (such as CoverWithCare.com), there are Drop Ship Programs offered. This is the reason why your shipment arrived via New Jersey and not Michigan.
    For most shipments within the continental USA, I've found it can take up to 10 days.
    However, as a convenience to our customers, we offer UPS Next Day Air for rush shipments.
