Computer Issue...HELP!

    My computer at home is being stupid...I don't know if its a virus or just something that has changed a setting...when I clip on the Explorer icon it sets there a few seconds and then that microsoft error box comes up saying that Explorer is not available at this time sorry for any incovence...there is a option to report he problem of just close it...I hate crap like this, it drives me crazy!!:af: anyone seen this or know what is wrong?

    James, If you are using XP, go to the control panel, click on "Administrative Tools", click on "Event Viewer", click on "Application". Click on the first "error" you see. If you can post here what it says I might be able to help. Also let me know the "eventID" which you see when you're viewing the error.

    Mine has done this, my daughters has also, but my wifes lap top is fine..when this happened to mine I was on the phone with a guy I help coach softball with, and..........his was doing it too....:error:

  9. We've received a ton of virus-infected emails at work this morning, but all were quarantined. I wonder if you guys have a virus that slipped by your anti-virus software programs? I suggest running a scan of your systems to rule out that possibility.

    we've been getting some email virus for about two days now here at work. in the art dept. we all have macs. the rest of the company has pc's and have all been infected! :Comp: :Smarty: :grin:

    I'm with you...I've got about 8 virus infected emails today..and you're right, thank GOD for Norton!!!
