I did a compression test on the mystery SF code motor that came in our '71 stage 1. Each cylinder ranged from 150-155. Does that mean this is a performance oriented motor? Under the valve covers the valve springs and rockers look brand new but we have yet to take off the intake. If it means anything it has hooker header and crane cam stickers in the rear windows and it does have a set of hooker headers.

What should i check for on the cam to help ID if it is an aftermarket cam?

    Thanks,
    Louie
