I have a interior color question for my 1970 Skylark GS. I want to replace some interior parts and carpet but,
they are discolor through the sunlight over the years. So i can't see what the really color it is.

What are the real original colors of my (original) molded carpet, rear seat shelf and pilar molding ?

For the carpet can i choose: medium saddle, light medium saddle, dark saddle and coral from Auto Custom Carpets Inc.

For the rear seat shelf can i choose: dk. saddle, Tan and gold from the Orginal Parts Group (opgi.com)

And for the pilar molding i want to know the paintcode please.

    The color code is:
    TR 176 B80 63 F PNT

    The exterior color is:
    63 Desert Gold Poly

    Thanks for the answers!

That looks like the same color combo as Carl Rychliks car. Try PM ing Carl. He did most of the interior resto on his car. Bet he could help.

Thanks Larry for sending a PM to me in regards to sjansbob's car. The interior and exterior colors are the same as my car. The seat covers are saddle and the dashboard and related items are dark saddle. From the looks of it,the fabric of the rug has turned an orange shade over the years(that's what my rug did too). When I restored my car,I naturally replaced the rug with what it was originally-saddle.

Basically on your car,you have two colors you have to contend with(saddle and dark saddle).

sjansbob-what model of GS do you have? Looks like a nice car.

Let me know if there is any help you may need.

Thanks all for the answers :TU:

I think that i choose for the light medium saddle carpet, it's looks the most of tan color. And it state the best in the interior.
The medium saddle looks like a little bit red and that is the same as the discolored carpet what i now have. For the rear seat shelf i think choose Tan.

@ Carl: I have a '70 GS350. He looks like in good shape, but he is not so good as he likes. Behind the frontwheel he as on both side rusty on the front fenders. Also under the rear window is he rusty. But this winter it will be repair and repaint the whole car in same color, Desert Gold Poly. Then i go search for good rechromed bumpers (front and near), This bumpers are in very bad shape.

Carl and Larry you have both a nice GS, can you both post a photo of your interior? Thanks.

Hi Chris, your GS doesn't look bad at all despite it is 36 years old. Glad to be of help for choosing the colors of your interior. Thanks for the compliments on my car, Chris.

I will post a picture of the interior of my car when I get home tonight.

From what I gather,Buick made 156 total cars(Skylarks and Gran Sports). Can anyone here verify this for me?
