He won't send me a #. His name is William Mallette. I won't be contacting him about these cars anymore. If he can't give a straight story and a contact #,I can read between the lines..........
I am wondering is the teal 66 Wildcat GS he has is the same one that sold on Ebay about a month ago? It was teal with black interior too...sold in Va for $2,300.
This guy is not easy to work with. Had to fill out a form for him to accept my emails. We traded emails for two days. I asked him if he had titles for the cars and he said no, he does not need them in Vermont. I told him I would have to check PA regulations to see if i could title them on a bill of sale. When i emailed him back last night he blocked my emails. I also requested his phone number and gave him mine so we could iron out the details, and no phone call as well as blocked my emails. I guess he wants to sell, but only to the unaware buyer, someone that has no concerns or cares about what they are buying. If someone else is successful, post it so i know your secret to success with this guy.
well have been trying to get photos on the electra for days or even weeks now........raining,have not time...and I wont buy unseen...........s
We ought to call the "American Pickers" to go deal with this guy. He sounds like one of their future episodes...
he's right about the titles...in VT, cars before 1980 (i think) only require a bill of sale to transfer ownership.....the 70 stage car i bought this summer came from VT and it was the same thing...just take the bos to your local bmv at home and they will issue you a title.fwiw
