Well i have been having ideas of a hood scoop but i can't bring myself to change the all steel street car look of my car.So i have always liked the idea of a cold air induction set up but all the ones for sale use a large 14" x 4" air cleaner which i don't have room for.. So i came up with the idea of make a air box out of aluminum and running two 3 1/2" hoses down low under the car and then put two cone k+n air filters on kinda like the idea of fuel injected cars use do you guys think that will work to pick up a tenth?? over running just a open carb?

yea i was thinking of using somethink like that to but i was thinking if i make a air box for the carb i can use two 3 1/2" hose with two filters i think that would be enough air i not sure if one would be enough

Well after look under the hood of my car i got a new idea.....cutting the webbing of the hood in the rear big enough to build an air pan much like a chevy cowl induction hood but getting the air from the the sloted part of the rear of the stock 69 gs hood in front of the windshield where air presure is high not the scopes in the front..But will that weaken the hood to much? I don't think it will but as any tried this before??
