Who is currently machining Edelbrock Buick heads? Two names come up here on a search. I have messaged Competition Components off the website. I have not heard back from them, yet. The other passed away not long ago, rip. Is there another reputable company I could contact? Thanks

You may try to get a hold of Chad Speier at Speier Racing Heads. He CNC ported a set of Edelbrocks for a Big Block Buick for the Engine Masters Challenge several years ago. The engine performed extremely well !!! Here is a link to his website and flow numbers for the heads:

Thanks Steve, I will contact Chad Speier and check. I changed my search on Google and found another place, Performance CNC in Summerville SC. They mostly do Chevy but their webpage does have Buick heads shown with a price. Any one heard of them? I messaged them. Waiting for a reply.

Similar #s to Chads....surprised either one has programs tbh..but performance has quite a few programs....surprised they don't have a TA head program

I thought I would update this post. I went with Scott Brown to rework my heads. His program increases flow to 321 cfm/215 cfm at .500". Since I am not going to run the engine over 6krpm's, these numbers seem good.

Glad scotty got back with you, he did my te2 heads and I'm very happy with the work he did on mine. Mine flowed 370/265@600 on AMPs flow bench.......he had no skin in the game and no reason to inflate the numbers

336/252@ 500 so you can compare

Bens99gtp, wish I was little closer to your exh. number. But for a street/strip engine which will never see over 6000 rpm’s, it’s better than stock. I originally wanted TA stg 1 heads. When I called back in December 2023, I was told they were still working to complete 2021 orders. Summit had 1 Buick head in stock since before summer. I saw they had a pair in late November. That’s when I called TA. The Edelbrock heads were marked down to $1350 ea, a far cry from the price 10 or more years ago. With the porting, the price here more or less evens out when you compare Chevy roller rockers to TA roller rockers… though the TA stg 1 heads are better.

Understand. Chevy rollers are 400 for a decent set compared to 1000 for bbb. The heads spund like they will work very well for you
