I have a pretty much stock 1970 455 with a M21 (1968) behind it. It has an aluminum flywheel and needs to be replaced as it has a " shutter" when it is let out. What would be a good, cost effective option?

    thanks

There are a few choices for stock applications. RAM would be likley the best, then Zoom.

Shutter can be a symptom of many types of issues, worn out being only one of coarse. Best to try and figure out the cause of the shutter. Do you know anything about the clutch in it,brand, type, miles on it, etc? Did this just start?

I really don't race my car, so when I replaced my clutch, I stuck with acdelco clutch that was standard for a corvette. Very easy to drive and shift. Just my two cent.:TU:
