im wondering if my clutch fan is shot,how do you tell,with motor not running and motor being cold i can spin the fan with one finger about a half a turn.if it is shot where do i get one and what a good one.i also have a 5 blade fan.thanks Ray ________ HAWAII MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARY
Spin the fan few times, maybe 10. One spin doesn't do anything, you need to warm up the oil in the clutch like if the engine were running. If its get noticeably easier and you can spin it faster the clutch is shot. I picked up a replacement at the local auto aprts store for $43. But they can be as high as $65 for a thermal clutch like mine. Goodluck!
