I'VE GOT A 70'SKYLARK,I NEED A GRILLE,REAR TAILIGHTS,12BOLT OR 9'' PASS SIDE REAR QUARTER,FIBERGLASS F.BUMPER,PAIR FIBERGLASS FRONT FENDERS,FRONT DISC CONV. ALOT OF STUFF

 

WEST SIDE,FRAME FOR 70'SKYLARK AT DICKS SANDBLASTINGNOW.WILL BE READY IN LATE SPRING HOPEFULLY

the long shaft has the heavy duty case but it's i believe just stock
the other is just a stock short shaft
the trans in my 69 shifts real good but
I have to get a 4 speed together before I sell that one
it shifts like this :3gears:

 

I HAVE A LONGTAIL 400 AND A SHORTTAIL350,PROBABLY GO WITH 350 THOUGH.THANKS FOR THE INFO

 

No problem
It's not hard to switch to a th 400 and i'd recomend it if your going too build a real fire breather :Smarty: :TU:

 

a 10 second car will need some reinforcement with the TH350....

Adam it's just personal preferece I just will not use a turbo 350 trans with a big block :shock:
and it's not like there's any shortage of turbo 400's I have 3 I want to get rid of now I'll probably just end up stripping them and keeping some of the parts and tossing the rest
