Anyone ever use one of those water pick systems to clean out the passages in the carburator during a rebuild. My carb, Holley, has developed a rough idle, runs smooth once out of the idle circuits but at a very small throttle opening there is a lot of roughness, just happened all of a sudden. I wanted to take it apart and clean it and reassemble. In the past i would buy a few cans of brake clean to blow out the passages but I was thinking one of those water picks might make a nice tool and would have plenty of pressure to really blow out dirt. so let me know if anyone has done so or does not recommend it for whatever reason.

Sounds reasonable. I just use carb cleaner and compressed air.
