Used to have one like this 20 years ago but Seafoam green. Loved it but didn't have the funds to keep it back then. These are so cool.

Ford abruptly stopped that experiment with unibody F-series after Owners started showing up at Ford Dealers with cab doors which wouldn't latch closed .... the Owners had used the trucks for their intended purpose .... hauling loads in the bed. The loads in the bed pulled the truck bed body portion away from the cab thereby warping the back of the cab and 'B' pillars .... where the cab door latch catches were affixed. And seat belts weren't even standard. Bench seat. Plain vinyl. Weeeeee!!! Sliding right out the door of the cab.

Actually, they cracked right behind the b pillar from frame flex (having real life experience with owning one and all, and being part of that community). Mine was just fine even though it was a work truck, as does this one appear to be. And if you find a good one such as this appears to be, what are you going to do with it? Haul logs or treat it as a classic? I'd say this is a great truck and no such "issues" will ever surface in the rest of its life.

Agreed. Just a historical comment about an experiment Ford tried.
