Hello, in putting back together my duct/vent hose stuff (which wasn't there before), I noticed the assembly drawing showing these two clamps highlighted in yellow. My questions:

    Are these necessary?
Any ideas where to buy them?

    Thanks,
    Nick

From what I remember you will need one of each on the dash vents.
    Someone here should have them.

These clamps were missing on my 71 lark when I bought it. The AC functions well without them and as near as I can see they are not necessary to support the plastic transfer
duct from the AC housing. I would think they were originally removed for maintenance and probably too much of a hassel to put back on (my guess).

Yeah, after looking the driver side vent is pretty much jammed in there and shouldn't fall off. The passenger side hose area (foot well) is wide open, so if that falls off, it would be easy to put back on. Looks like just cut hose a little longer to provide a friction fit.
