chrome "gills"

    I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to take the chrome gills off my '67 GS. I am prepping it for paint and removing all the chrome and stuff. So far I got the whole front grill area and headlights off, I am currentlky taking the back bumper off and thought maybe by the time I was finished you guys might have replied.

    fender gills

    Hi Phil,


    in order to remove the chrome gills,you must remove the fender.
    and there are 6 mounting studs on each one. becareful not to snap any of the studs,when installing them,don't overtighten them. good luck! :beer
