I have just received an email in my BuickStreet inbox from a fellow who built a 61 skylark with a 4 inch top chop, stroked 425 Nailhead and tubs in the 80's (ahhh the 80's).

Does anyone remember this car or know of it's current where abouts? Sounds like an interesting car and the old owner Dave promised to tell me how to stroke a Nailhead easily if I come up with some leads. Stroker info or not, it would be kind of neat to help him find his old car which he built with his Dad.

    Any clues?

bill, that would be bob marshall's old car. his son, dave and i have been looking for it. i did some work on that car with bob. that was a 3 handed car......2 to hold the steering and 1 for shifting the t10. let me just say it was one wild ride. you will find pictures of it on george's site, bronze '61

Got any links to George's site John?

Yes, Dave contacted me through Buickstreet.com and asked if I knew anything about it so I thought I'd ask you guys for him. Oh well, we've come full circle I suppose.

    Tell him I tried.
