choke spring rusted need help!!!!!

    Hello All!!!!!!!!! I have a 69 skylark. The car won't start unless someone plays with the choke under the hood. I'm guessing the spring is rusted. would a manual choke kit fix this problem?

    Have you tried any sort of lubrication on the choke coil?
