is there a place i can find a list of the warning chimes, like the ones that come on to tell you to buckle seatbelt, but sometimes there are some others that follow and doesnt show in the DIC display, its an 05 silverado w/o steering wheel controls, there has to be a list but i cant find one, not in manual as far as i could see, thanks, John. o No:
I wish I could turn mine off. I have 2 amps that run through an Audiosource auto turn on hi lo converter, and the darn chimes turn the amps on and are 3 times as loud as they need to be. It seems the chimes run through the left side audio channel... Can they be turned off? And, on topic again, they are door open with key in, driver seat belt not fastened (four chimes at 60 seconds and again at around 4 minutes), parking brake on, one ring when the for low fuel light comes on, and maybe for engine warnings but I've never heard them. I think they are low oil, hi temp, limp home mode and low brake fluid.
i get one that sounds like, ding ding ding...ding, i didnt notice if it only happened around low fuel, ill have to go burn up some fuel and see.....
