In a 1973 Buick century with the 350 CID engine, how do you tell if it is the chevy or buick engine just by a visual inspection...

I know the buick engine is a 4 barrel carb and the chevy is a 2 barrel, but just from the visuals, is there an easy way to tell?

    Thanks

  2. Buick has the dist in the front, Chev is in the rear.

In case you can't open the bonnet to have a look at the distributor:

Get behind the wheel, shift it into gear and floor it.
If you have a grin on your face after doing this:

    IT'S A BUICK 350 !! :3gears:

I was hoping for a good Chevy vs Buick thread.

101 reasons a Buick is better.......

    1. Its a Buick.
    2. Its not a Chevy.

 I have 3 good reasons:

    1)A buick 350 carries it's torque better
    2) buick 350's sound better than chevy 350's, becuase i have a friend with a GS 350 and my uncle used to have a chevy 350 in his camaro, so i know.
3)A buick 350 is a good engine for a Pro-street car, a chevy 350, well, they are too common, so they are nothing to brag on.

just my 3 reasons for buick 350's.
