In a 1973 Buick century with the 350 CID engine, how do you tell if it is the chevy or buick engine just by a visual inspection... I know the buick engine is a 4 barrel carb and the chevy is a 2 barrel, but just from the visuals, is there an easy way to tell? Thanks
In case you can't open the bonnet to have a look at the distributor: Get behind the wheel, shift it into gear and floor it. If you have a grin on your face after doing this: IT'S A BUICK 350 !! :3gears:
Oh darn. I was hoping for a good Chevy vs Buick thread. 101 reasons a Buick is better....... 1. Its a Buick. 2. Its not a Chevy. 3. 4. 5.
 I have 3 good reasons: 1)A buick 350 carries it's torque better 2) buick 350's sound better than chevy 350's, becuase i have a friend with a GS 350 and my uncle used to have a chevy 350 in his camaro, so i know. 3)A buick 350 is a good engine for a Pro-street car, a chevy 350, well, they are too common, so they are nothing to brag on. just my 3 reasons for buick 350's. -Cody
