Getting swapmeet ready, I am pretty sure I wont find any Buick lifters so I am researching what else I can use for my engine project. I would like know: What's the difference in plunger height between a chevy and a buick lifter? Will other lifters interchange and what are the plunger height in those?
chevy lifters Chebby lifters have a .060 deeper plunger depth than the buick ones. I have clevite chevy anti pump ups in my 455 but you'll need some sort of adjustability in your valvetrain to use them correctly. I have roller rockers.
