I have an 01 Suburban that should be subject to 2 recalls, the fuel pump one and the new brake issue in states that use salt on the roads. I'm planning a cross country trip next month and need to know if these are something I need to get taken care of before I leave or if they are essentially not a big deal. Since many times the parts needed for the recalls aren't available for a while it may be a mute point but I would hate to break down in the middle of nowhere if I can prevent it. Do any insiders have any knowledge on these recalls? Larry
