Maybe it's just my female hormones, but does the commercial for the Chevy Cobalt where they are playing ball drive anybody else crazy? The commercial is just plain stupid, and that Woo Hoo music is infuriating. :af: And it seems to be on every channel, all the time.

Worse yet, the same Woo Hoo song is used in the Vonage phone service commercials. What is that song anyway? Makes me want to throw something at the t.v. :blast:

What I dont understand is that the colbolt has no power compared to the corvette. I think it has the same power as the caviler z24 lol

I do like the Cobalt/Chevy commercial where it bumps the back of a Corvette several times.

they are advertising a cobalt sport SS that is supercharged. I'm sure that one goes better than the base model.

New Cobalt SS looks like a ricers wet dream, it has every ricer add on right from the factory. :error:

Besides trucks, and the new Ford Mustang, there isn't to much from any auto maker that is very applealing.

Chevy needs a kick in the butt if they expect to compete with dodge.

    SRT-4
    230 horsepower
    250 lb-ft of torque

Cobalt Supercharged (2.0L ecotec w/supercharger instead of the base 2.2L ecotec)

    205 horsepower
    200 lb-ft of torque

Their commercial must be working. It is getting our attention.

Supposedly the Cobalt is the new Camaro in Chevrolet's line-up. No lie, thing is it will never live up to the Camaro name. Its a "sporty" cavalier. Yuck!

    Those commercials are very stupid.

I wonder if the Camaro/Firebird would still be around had Chevy put half this effort into advertising them. Well - those F bodies did outlive their scheduled FWD conversion; maybe I should be happy about that.

the 'Whoo Hoo' music is virtually certain to be the intro to Blur's "Song 2". that song rawked!

if somebody can get me a copy of the cobalt ad in question i'll verify it.

What makes me mad about GM, they get rid of Oldsmobile, one of the best selling lines they've had. They take away the Camaro and Firebird and give us the overpriced and cheesy GTO. Here's an idea, maybe if they're gonna continue on the rear-wheel drive platform, let's petition them to bring back a RWD from Buick. A new Grand Sport??? What do you think??? Buick has always built the best performance cars when it came to factory muscle. I don't know why the voices of a few couldn't be heard in Detroit. :TU:
