chevy 350 mounts in 66 skylark? help!

I recently have been trying to put a SBC into my skylark but i have incountered a little problem with the motor mounts the mounts are about 6 inches ahead of the pads when the engine is in and the trans is all bolted in and lined up, i've seached a few sits (jegs, summit and original parts group) and have come up with nothing, any one have any idea on where i can find some? and sorry about having to put a chevy into a buick lol but i have to work with what i have right now.

Lee I think your going to have to fabricate a set.

Lee, you got off easy. Another member here posted about putting a SBC in a Riviera and got slammed by negative posts. I see your point. Make the most of what you already have. Good luck.
