Climatic combustion control. Its written vaguely in the aircleaner. Im guessing something to prevent dieseling in the wintertime. Says it in the auction. Patrick
I have that aircleaner on my 67 Toro, it is the first GM aircleaner with carb.preheat ( hot air tube from exhaust manifold to aircleaner ) Toro's got a 4 barrel version while Cutlass's ( cutlie ? ) had a 2 barrel version as part of the turnpike cruiser package. And yes it is restrictive but it does work pretty well. Kevin

I think it's pretty cool. And bet it's far scarcer than our beloved "Star Wars" aircleaner! I've been interested in E body GM's for a long time now, and I learned something new seeing this. :Smarty: Usually they have the dual snorkeled, standard style of air cleaner.
