Check out this Centurion that is sitting on the street by my office- I'm not sure if somebody just bought this or its for sale-area code on the ad is 502 -areacode here is 513. I have to call, this thing is way too nice for this neighborhood and alll the cars I see in front of this house normally have big wheels and rub a dub tires.
That looks really nice! Of course if you bought it, my guess of "it's stolen!" wasn't correct. There's a 72 Centurion at a yard in WA, but you probably couldn't use anything off of it from the looks of those pictures.
I bought it! Drove it a bit, open rear end, probably the 2.73, needs a bit of a tune up though the oil looks really good. maybe too much oil in it! Clean interior, all the chrome looks great, cool highway bomber! rear bumper is pushed up a bit, just needs to be pulled out. :TU:
OOOOOOO!!! Nice find!!! What's that back glass trim? Looks like a painted wide piece, then a small chrome piece by the glass? Or is that one piece that's partly painted? I only ask because that stands out to me, I just got through fighting my back glass and trim. It's the only real problem area on those bodies, water collects in the lower corners, rusts through, then you get water in the trunk and in front of the wheelwells... Looking Good! :TU: :TU: :TU:
I always thought the 2dr hardtop Centurion was quite a classy look. That babe is beautiful. You obviously got a great deal, or you wouldn't have jumped on it so quickly. Enjoy! Enjoy! and Enjoy!
Really Nice! Ted, That is SWEET! :TU: GOOD LUCK WITH HER! Pretty soon you will need to write a book on Buicks! I am looking into a 65 Riv. I might be able to get her dirt cheap and it is in Good to Fair condition! Keep your fingers crossed! Seems like every thing is there to boot! :beer Now I just need to figure out a way to explain to my wife why I need it o No: ou: Don
Found the Build Sheet when I took the back seat out. Stuck in the springs just where it "should" be! Matches the window sticker perfect. Engine is a 455 but it needs a tune up BAD. Guess what I'll be working on tomorrow! :TU:
