    Hi all
Can anyone tell from this what rear end I have in the car? I know it isn't posi but I would like to find out what ratio I have. I don't really feel like crawling under the car (if you saw my "garage" you would know why!) TIA

Interesting to see a Canadian build sheet.

It's more than likely a 2.93 open rear end. If it doesn't have any particular towing package or specified optional 3.42 rear axle ratio on the slist, then it's probably you have the 2.93.....unless it's been changed some time during the last 33 years.

That code in the build sheet might correspond to one of the two letter codes shown in the rear axle section of the Buick shop manual. I don't have a manual for that year, or I'd look it up myself. The page I'm talking about has all the codes for axles.

Interseting reading it. Mine was built in Fairfax, KS . Jim just wondering the rear on my 73 Centurion 455 ragtop, the code on the build sheet is UA** it has 2 stars following the UA. Not sure but is a a 2.73 open rear?

Also just like my sheet it is hand written "CONV" on it.

    Thanks
    Rick
