How do you remove the center console from a 67GS400? I would appreciate any help. Thanks,

    Steve

First L1 L2 is not a GS console in 67 as they were 3 speed auto.

First you unscrew the black/chrome shift knob.

Then the plate that has L1 L2 has a small buttom that you must push in to release the plate that you will slide up and off since the knob was removed.
This will expose to screws that attach it to the shifter and the rest of the screws are inside the console under the lid.

There will be wires to the light for the rear seat and the ones that light up the shift indictor and the I think the buick emblem but the tach if you have one.
