I bought a console for my riv and it's cracked down the side.Anyone ever repair a plastic console and what did you use? Thanks,Tom
I never have done it my self but i have a friend that owns a body shop and he says that the plastic can be welded just like metal. he uses a special tool , I think, to do it with. but he says it is easy to do.
I have had good luck using PVC glue you get for plumbing pipes, for several plastic items I have had to repair. I use the red can (maybe different where you live), it is for several different types of PVC. Seems to hold very well and is usually not noticeable. Good Luck.
