Just wanted to thank everyone that attended the 8th Annual East Coast Regionals at Cecil County Dragway on October 8th & 9th. We had around 110 Buicks racing and 50 Nostalgia cars and plenty of spectators. We had a slow start Friday (out of my control) which I apoligized for by buying 30 large pizza pies and 20 cases of soda and giving them out to all that attended. Next year the food and fuel will be open by 9am! Please show some support and say thank you to the 12 major sponsors that hepled make our payouts so large! We paid out over $3200 in prize money plus gifts to 4 classes and 17 drivers in total. Here are our 12 sponsors:
Cars, Inc., Poston, T/A Performance, HR Parts-n-Stuff, Auto Center at Reader's Digest, Stage 1 Automotive, Cotton's Performance, earick Racing engines, Dynotech Performance, Finishline, SD Lyons Automotive & BPG.
Our Quick 16 winner Mike Pollack
    runner up Rick Miller

    V-8 winner Will Lanier Jr
    runner up Rob Giroux

    turbo winner Banning Cohen
    runner up Jay Emrey

Front Wheel Drive winner Mike Annecchini
    runner up David Wallace

Thanks again everyone and mark October 7th & 8th, 2005 for next years event :3gears:

John, Other then the obvious missfortunes.......We had a great time, with the advertised "you'll run your best times ever" promised, I did, my pump gas powered Regal posted a 10.32 @ 128+mph almost a full tenth better then ever before(with no additional tuning). The track personal problems on Friday was out of your hands, but were handled in a very professional manner by yourself. I say Thank you for putting on a great event, hope to see you next year for some great racing and story telling!

P.S. Thanks especially to you John Csordas for trying to keep peace(really the track was at fault for not organizing things to begin with) among the racers. I don't know if people were aware of this, but I want to say this to let people know.

That was quite generous of you, John and a great gesture.

    Thank you. :TU:
