I had my right eye done this morning. As of this minute, things are a bit fuzzy through that eye (they told me that they would be for a couple of days). Minor pain and severe dry-eye. I have drops for one and Advil for the other. I'll keep you posted.

It gets better. The drier winter air doesn’t help.

The dryer winter air here was about 64 degrees yesterday. Today things are much better; still some light sensitivity, but about half the irritation and the world is substantially less fuzzy. I wouldn't have driven a car yesterday, I will drive to my post-op appointment today. My vision is much better then when they dilate my pupils for an eye exam. I'm thinking I will be pretty much back to normal tomorrow. Cataract surgery isn't exactly fun, but I have experienced a lot worse.

Second eye done this morning. Got a good nap in and going through the eyedrop regimen.

The post-op appointment Tuesday was worse then the surgery. They just about rammed the newly-fixed eye through the back of my skull taking the eye pressure. Wednesday the eye felt about as well as it did Tuesday AM before the appointment. Today it feels about 95% fine, and the vision is now better then what used to be my "good" eye. I'm hopeing that by tomorrow I will be 100%.

Had my post op today and I've got 20/20 vision for the first time in my life. I'll need readers since I got distance lenses implanted, but will no longer need full-time glasses or contact lenses.
