Can someone tell me what the block casting number is? B1374871 This is located at the rear of the block. There are also numbers stamped on the front of the block just below the drivers side head. They are 5H234254. I suspect it is a 300 but I can't find these numbers in any books I have. Thanks. Ron
Well... I think there is a 4 (for Buick) before the 5, and the 5 stands for 1965. The H is the Flint plant, and the rest of the numbers match the vin of the car. I don't recall the casting #'s, but assume it is correct for a 65. If that helps.:TU:
