You can get the sender from inline tube and from rock auto. It is the same one for a 79 firebird I believe. I will look it up when I am off work.

    Inline tube Part # INL 10400 - $45.00
Rock auto has it a lot cheaper. I use the one from Inline and it has worked great. The Parts Place has it too (ok price). That one worked great then went bad in about 6 months and they would not warranty it. Hope this helps

I couldn't find it on Rock Auto - do you have the stock #?

    Thanks,

The first # I gave you was an inline tube part #. My buddy uses PS155 from Standard Motor Products. It doesn't cross to our year Buicks, but it works fine. It is inexpensive.

What year car does your buddy have? I have done some looking and Standard Products PS154 looks to be a 60lb sender. I will look up the specks on PS155. Thank you for your help.

He has a 72 and the PS155 is a 80 pound unit. He likes the 80 pound because it does not peg out when he gets on it. He runs a max about 65 lbs and the 60 pound unit would peg out.
