carter carburetor id

    I have a carter carburetor, but I don't know its application. The number is 96055-2125. Can anyone help? Thanks.

    I believe you have a 9605s, Carter's aftermarket 600 cfm (according to Carter) with manual choke. Happy motoring, Frank.

    Do they have any performance value for buick engines?

    Not with that CFM rating...

    Try to get one with at least 750 CFM. The stock quadrajet on a 350 is 750cfm. On the 71 and up 455's, the qjet is rated at 800cfm.
