    Brett-

I read that thread when when it was active and think you found a really cool and rare car. You've got some challenges there, but the body looks straight and the interior appears to be mostly there. Does it run? I really like the burnished copper color that your car was originally.

Keep the faith. All it takes is time and money. :beer :Dou:

Bud, I have a digital camera and plan to take video when I start it. A guy I work with is into video editing and I think he could help me turn it into an mpeg.

On another note, I noticed that although I paid my dad for the car in 1978, he never signed over the title as insurance would've killed me back then! So, this past Sunday I *officially* became the owner. A twenty-five year transaction. We started talking about the build sheet and as I described the missing paper he said that he thought I was looking for a different paper. It seems he got the original window sticker with the car and it's somewhere in his house! So now I have two pieces of paper to look for. I figure that greatly increases my odds of being able to document this car.

    Ken,

Thanks for the compliment! Yes it does run, quite well, actually. I just need to make an adjustment on the shifter...

you're right: A LOT of time and $$$$$.

Bite me. Your car was a turd then and it is just a polished turd now. Don't you have a strip club to go to?

Yo Ronald. Happy 2017. Hope the family is well. We are well. I'm swapping front disc setups from that lame scarebird setup to a custom job from australia. Also gatting axle bearings presson on as we speak. One was toast. Swapping springs back to the ones I've had in it for the last 10 years. Didn't like how squishy the new ones were and it bottomed out too easily. Hope to see you this year for more than 10 minutes!

Strip club? Why I only go to church..... (yes, that was a fiasco! )

So, Yardley is the same as always- taking his car apart and putting it back together, maybe throwing out a carb or two by accident, only he moans about his achy old ass a bit more these days! Of course, when it's back together he isn't happy with something, so lather-rinse-repeat, as the shampoo bottle sez.

I was searching the forum and came across this thread- yes, an oldie but goodie!
