Of couse the new carpet comes with thin underlay already attached, but does anyone know of a "generic" thick underlay like the factory used under that so I don't have to ship this stuff all over the planet?? Maybe something from the house world?? Or stero sound deadening material that is thick enough?? How thick is the factory heavy underlay anyway?? Mine was gone... Thanks Tim
We have ours and I would say 1 inch much thicker than you can buy. www.opgi.com sells a die cut jute. I would use two glued togther.
