As a long suffering Sox fan, I'm going to refrain from any rebuttal...

I'll just let the games play out and see what happens....

The Cardinals and the Red Sox played one game earlier this year. It was the first game I got to see this season, Schilling on the mound.

The Red Sox won that one, so it can be done.

The Sox / Yankees rivalry has been fun, but it sometimes overshadows the fact that they were some great games to watch.

GO SOX!! The Sox beating the Yankees was better than the world series! The Cardinals don't have Bob Gibson like in 1967. For all the die hard Sox fans in New England, I hope they win. The curse is over.

Let the Curse of Bambino be with the Red Sox  Everybody on Espn is saying the red sox are taking all...but you can't count the chickens before they're hatched! Espn, for that matter, just about everyone was ranking the cardinals to place third in their division...Game 1 tonight, going to be a very interesting WS. :)

Here we go RED SOX; here we go! Taking out the Yankees was sweet but we must now seal the deal!!! World Series or bust!!! The Pats also have the chance to knock off another hated NY team... the 5-0 Jets. We are LOOSERVILLE no more!

there is going to be an increased Police presence where the trouble starts, ie: Bars and Clubs

The College crowd today apparently thinks that rioting is what you do after a sports victory. I have heard several radio interviews in which college students are saying things like "well they know we're going to riot after the game" :puzzled:

Jeez, when the Bruins won the Cup last, they had a parade and people cheered
When Bourque brough the Cup to Boston a few years back, the fans cheered. Nobody rioted. And beleive me, the night the Avalanche won the Cup there were some pretty drunk and boisterous fans in Boston that night. But nobody rioted.

The Colleges and Universities are partly to blame, because of their lax attitude toward students being punished for anything , and these dolts don't know their limits yet, and go and cause trouble, because they know they can get away with it.

    PS

    Pedro is still a fraud
