Carburetor Heated Grid, anybody remember them (under the carburetor) ? They would crack and fall into the intake manifold. I have one on my 1984 3.0 V6 Century wagon and thinking of using a gasket instead of the heated grit. I'm just seeing if anyone else has removed theres and saw any benefits not having it. AL.

Common as dirt. Used to see them melted 'n' crispy all the time.

Car won't idle right when it's cold if you don't replace it. Maybe MD doesn't get cold.
