Hey Jon, I saw a '39 Special with what looked like a phenolic spacer under it's Carter...keeps the heat out of the carb. I have a '53 Special with a Stromberg 7-90B Aerotype, and I was wondering if you knew of a wooden or phenolic spacer that was available for this thing. Thanks! Aaron
I am not aware of one that is an "off the shelf" item; but not a great deal of trouble to machine from an oak board. Jon.
