I AM THINKING OF TAKING OFF THE ORIGANL 2BBL RODCHESTER CARB(IT STILL RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT), AND PUTTING ON A HOLLY 4BBL. IS THIS A GOOD IDEA? ALSO I HEARD ON THIS SITE OF A Q-JET, IS THE A CARB AND IF SO IS THERE A WEBSITE.
You'll also need a new manifold for the swap. A nicely set-up Rochester Quadrajet will perform as well as a Holley on your car, if not better. You'll also get better gas mileage with the Q-jet. A website? Ask around here as they are not made anymore, but were standard equipment on many of the Gran Sports (I think the early GSs may have come with Carter carbs).
