IF I RPLACED MY 2BBL CARB WITH A 4BBL WOULD I HAVE TO CHANGE THE TIMING? P.S. HOW DO U GUYS GET THOSE COOL ICONS
Carb Swap If you changed to a 4 bbl as a rule you leave the timing set at what it was with a 2 bbl. Depending on the comp. ratio, you might have to retard it to keep it from pinging with a 4 bbl. Can anybody back me on this, I'm only 80% sure. When you post a thread, look to the left of the text box you type your message in. select a smilie to put on the end of you sentence. I would at least check the timing when you get it back together. Just make sure everything is tuned....points, timing, all new ignition junk, etc.
