Do any of you run a 1407 Edelbrock Performer Carb?
I notice it is jetted a bit on the rich side ( manual choke version) and my gas usage is a bit high with it. I have heard the 455 prefers the jetting to be a bit on the lean side but is this true?

My cam is a "mild" Lunati 33302, which has 224/234 @.050" specs, with a 112 lobe sparation angle. Has anyone tried this cam?

Finally getting this car on the road has been a big job, and some tuning/tweaking is necessary. Any help is certainly appreciated.

Hi Russ I run that cam in my car. It's a heavy 69 riv but what kind of heads do you have? I run a Holley 850 dp with 80 front and 86 rear with a power valve. I have stage 2 heads though. The car runs great. I tried 84-86 but it was too rich. I hope this helps. Chris
