Does anyone know if there is going to be a Car Corral and/or Swap spaces available at the BPG meet in August at Salem?

I'm getting ready to send in my registration and don't see either option on the registration form.

I have parts and a car that should be ready to sell by then.

    Thanks,

    Larry

Larry, we are going to handle those on a first-come, first-serve basis when you get there. Send in all your other stuff and we'll set you up with the other, when you arrive.

Will there be a cruise night? If so, to where?

Thats a great point, where is Moses (John Schmidt) at? I think there is an A&W Restaurant out there, we should have a car cruise out there. Usually on weekends, course was 3 years ago last time i went i believe? it was packed. It would be fun, b/c i remember at BG the Sonics was awesome with all the old rides, some guy with blue Stage 2 Emblemed GS race car used to drive it up and down there with full slicks and all the goodies. A cruise should be a must at least to me. Swap meet and car corral would be good too, charge $15 per car like Randolph/Canfield OHio swap meets, sounds good to me!:beer

Steve, we don't have a cruise night scheduled. Saturday night we will be racing, so maybe Thursday night or late Friday night something could be checked out. I don't know the locale well enough to persue this however.

    Jim:
The area has two cruise spots: A&W and Chili's. The A&W is owned by a Buick person. Either spot has a lot of parking around it and both are on Rt. 224, about 15 minutes from the track.

    Hi Chris,

    Good to hear from you!

I'm planning on having the original engine back in the gold 70GS455 hardtop and bringing to Salem to sell. I took it to BG and had a couple of serious lookers but no one talked dollars with me. I prefer to sell it with the original engine rather than the motor that's in it now. I need to make room for the 70 GS455 convertible when it comes home from the body shop. I was storing it at my daughters house and I promised her that when it left, it wouldn't come back.

I've attached a pic of the hardtop. Not perfect but a nice car.

    See you in Salem,

    Larry
